Friendly nest!!

One day I was outside and I saw a Carolina Wren fly inside a pole. I noticed a stick was in its mouth. So...I got a yogurt container and nailed it in a bush. The next day, a nest was in there!! Weeks passed. One day my sister and I saw a Carolina Wren in the container. When I looked down inside I saw EGGS!! 5 reddish-brownish white eggs. I hope we can see the baby birds too.

** The first picture is before the eggs.

Wow, what a discovery!!! Last year we had a Carolina Wren nest in our shed.

Nice pictures, I'm sure you'll remember to keep at a distance so the parents don't get scared and abandon the nest!

We had a cardinal nest in our blackberry bush, but the female got spooked, so she left and never came back. There was one egg in the nest, but it hadn't started developing.

    Have a nice day!
