  1. Dear Kate,

I was going to comment last night, but the computer froze up and deleted it!:(

I love all the pictures on your sidebar! Did you take the bird pictures? And who are the people on the tractor- are they your ancestors? I just adore the picture:).

The eleventh, when you saw the birds, was my twelfth b.day! I have heard a lot of baby chickadees and tufted-titmice around here lately, but I rarely see them, especially close up! So, you are really lucky!

I have seen lots of geese here in February, but I don't really see them that much anymore, just occasionally hear them, so that makes you double-lucky!

A couple weeks ago, I saw bats, too-- for the first time in my LIFE!!! I haven't seen them lately, so, LUCKY YOU@!:)

We have hummers here, also, but, we only see them at our feeder, and since the homemade nectar is all gone, the only one we saw lately was spotted by my mom in our yard-- they really miss the nectar, so I have to make some more! (Did you see the comment on the hummingbird post I did on our blog, the one I wrote about how to make homemade nectar?)

    I love your blog!

    Love,

    Audrey

p.s. Have you heard of American Girl?

  2. Audrey,

I took the hummingbird picture. The people on the tractor are me, and my brothers and sisters. We were doing a 1930s day. My mom has pictures on her blog (momhearthome).
